Balboa
Control
The Compact features the
Balboa VS500 110/220v convertible control.
The control combines reliability with simple
operation. It includes a top side control
with function capability and a digital
temperature readout. It is programmed to
automatically turn the pump off after 15
minutes of high speed operation, for safety,
and it is also programmed to provide freeze
protection. |

Balboa
Heater
The Compact features the Balboa heater
assembly with M7 technology. When operating
at 110v, the heater element operates at 1kw.
This will heat water approximately 1-2
degrees per hour. The heater will not
operate if the pump is operating on high
speed. For more energy efficiency, the
control can be converted to 220v. By
connecting to 220v, the heater element will
operate at 4kw. This will heat water
approximately 6-8 degrees per hour. The high
speed pump function will also operate while
the heater element is operating. The heater
element is thermostatically controlled. It
will operate when there is a heat demand,
regardless of whether the spa is operating
in filtration mode or not. |

Waterway
Pump
The compact features the Waterway Executive
115v, 1hp, 2 speed pump. It offers enhanced
energy efficiency It was designed for
increased
flow and it offers whisper quiet
performance. |

Electrical
The convertible Balboa control enables the
Compact to be operated at 110v or 220v. It
comes standard with a 15 foot, 110v cord,
with a built in GFCI. Plug it into a
dedicated, 15 amp service and its ready to
go. For those who prefer, the Compact can
also be hard wired to 220v for better heater
efficiency in colder climates. |

Ozone Generator
Ozone is
well known for its ability to automatically
assist in cleaning spa water and providing a
cleaner and healthier spa environment. An
ozone generator is standard on all South
Pacific spas. Maintaining a spa has never
been easier. |

Shipping
Each Compact is
individually
protected with shrink wrapped
plastic, turned on end and individually
palletized. This provides excellent
protection during shipping. It makes
unloading simple and it makes storing
convenient. |
